In Haute Couture, there are different embroidery techniques, among them the Lunéville Embroidery or also called Tambour Beading.
It is a traditional French technique present since the 19th century in dresses and accessories of the International Haute Couture.
The different courses of Lunéville Embroidery of Haute Couture, seeks that the student achieves the handling and skill with the Lunéville needle.
It is characterized by being done by hand and allows embroidering with different types of rhinestones, on silk and other materials, on the reverse side of the fabric.
The student will learn from basic exercises the movement and use of the crochet hook, how to apply sequins, beads and other applications.
It is not necessary to have previous experience or knowledge of embroidery.

The INITIATION course of Haute Couture Embroidery Lunéville, seeks that the student learns, from basic exercises, the movement and use of the crochet, to acquire the knowledge of how to apply sequins, rocaille, beads and other applications.
This course is aimed at all those who want to make Haute Couture projects or simply learn about this wonderful embroidery technique.
COURSE CONTENT
The masterclass includes:
– History of Lunéville embroidery
– Knowing the materials and the quality of the surface to be used
– Rhythm, movement and structure of the design
– Correct execution of the Lunéville technique
– Correct use of materials or applications
– Natural flow of materials
With this course you will be able to expand your curriculum as a designer and/or dressmaker, or simply acquire new knowledge in the way of making your garments, with unique and different finishes. With this technique you will be able to dedicate yourself to embroidery in a professional way.
The masterclass will be both theoretical, where the teacher will teach various techniques, and practical where the student will put into practice what they have learned.
It is a form of embroidery that requires a lot of patience and precision.
The embroidery is done on the reverse side of the fabric following the marked pattern and different types of rhinestones, beads or sequins can be used:
-Assemble frame
-Transferring the pattern to the fabric
-Proper choice of materials
-Getting to know the Lunéville Needle
-Introduction to Lunéville Crochet
-Practical realization of several swatches
We will learn the basic stitch of this technique. In this masterclass you can get started in this art, we will make an introduction to the materials, you will be able to familiarize yourself and use the Lunéville hook, you will work backwards and forwards with fabric and different materials, you will place seed beads, sequins, bowls, tubes, half tubes, of different sizes, with varied rhythms.
You will also learn the use of metallic threads, master the technique of embroidery in all directions, from top to bottom, from bottom to top, from left to right and from right to left, chain stitch with thread to the right and loading of materials such as sequins and beads, among others. We will see the filling with chain stitch and beads, placing different shapes of crystals embroidering front and back, vermicelli stitch and other techniques.
The first class will be to familiarize with the materials, correct assembly and preparation of the hoop to start embroidering. The second and final class will work intensively on the basic stitches and exercises to master crochet embroidery. We will learn the techniques to embroider different types of stones:
